About the role

Reporting to the Growth Impact Lead – WA, the Community Fundraising and Events Coordinator will support the development, growth and delivery of fundraising events, peer-to-peer initiatives, corporate partnerships and sponsorships. You will build strong relationships with individuals, businesses and community organisations to grow engagement, awareness and fundraising income.

Working closely with internal teams, external suppliers, partners and supporters, you will coordinate results-driven campaigns and activations aligned with our Strategic Plan. This hands-on role combines relationship management, event delivery, business development and accurate reporting, with some out-of-hours work and travel required.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of partnership, sponsorship and community fundraising plans aligned with organisational strategy.
• Identify and cultivate new corporate partners, sponsors, community groups and fundraising opportunities across Western Australia.
• Nurture existing relationships and create mutually beneficial engagement, campaign and event opportunities.
• Lead the growth and delivery of peer-to-peer and community fundraising programs, including established campaigns.
• Develop event briefs, schedules, budgets and delivery plans, coordinating suppliers and stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Monitor fundraising targets and key performance indicators, providing timely reports and maintaining accurate supporter information in the CRM.
• Promote positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues, volunteers, partners, supporters and the wider community.

About you

You are a proactive, relationship-focused professional who enjoys bringing people together around a shared purpose. Organised and outcomes-driven, you are comfortable balancing multiple priorities, working independently and collaborating across teams to deliver engaging fundraising activities and memorable events.

You will bring:

• Three-five years’ experience in a similar fundraising, partnerships, sponsorship or events role.
• Demonstrated success in developing partnerships, sponsorships and strong professional networks.
• Knowledge of community and peer-to-peer fundraising, together with practical event management experience.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
• Strong planning, time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and financial targets.
• Confidence using CRM and project management systems and Microsoft Office applications to maintain records and produce reports.
• A collaborative, adaptable and compassionate approach, with a genuine interest in the health and not-for-profit sector.
