About Us Military and Emergency Services Health Australia (MESHA) are part of The Hospital Research Foundation Group, working to improve outcomes for current and former Australian military and emergency service personnel and their families. We connect research, programs, lived experience and sector partnerships to deliver evidence-informed services that support mental health, wellbeing and functioning across high-risk occupational communities. About the Role This is a senior leadership opportunity for a natural connector, strategist and growth driver. Reporting to the Chief of Client and Patient Services, you will lead THRF Group - MESHA’s business development strategy and help turn ideas, research and capability into sustainable funded programs. In this role, you will: - Identify and secure new revenue opportunities across research, training, wellbeing programs and advisory services.
- Build a diversified pipeline through government contracts, grants, partnerships and fee-for-service models.
- Develop trusted relationships with defence, emergency services, government, peak bodies and industry partners.
- Represent THRF Group - MESHA at key meetings, forums and events to grow visibility, credibility and influence.
- Work with research, programs and group teams to shape scalable, evidence-informed offerings.
About You You are a purpose led commercial leader who knows how to open doors, build trust and turn strategy into action. You will bring: - Significant senior experience in business development, partnerships, commercial leadership or growth.
- A strong track record securing funding, contracts, grants or strategic partnerships.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills.
- The ability to balance purpose, impact, risk and financial sustainability.
- Experience in health, research, government, social services or the not-for-profit sector.
- Experience with military, veteran, emergency services or other high-risk occupational cohorts will be highly regarded.
