The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) Group is seeking an exceptional Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator to develop concepts and content for marketing and fundraising campaigns, appeals and supporter communications for THRF Group and its charities, supporting client acquisition and fundraising growth.

About the role:

Reporting to the Campaigns Lead, you’ll be at the heart of our campaigns—developing compelling content, engaging with ambassadors, and coordinating initiatives that make a real impact. You will work collaboratively across all teams to support and improve the donor, supporter and client experience across THRF Group charities.

 

Role responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute multi-channel content for marketing and fundraising campaigns as part of donor and client acquisition journeys focused on fundraising and membership growth
  • Understand the supporter base, audiences and campaign objectives to write copy for various appeals and campaigns both offline and online, incorporating industry best practice and internal learnings to achieve objectives
  • Interview patients and researchers, organise photoshoots and other activities to ensure fundraising appeals have maximum impact
  • Incorporate test and learn methodology into appeal and campaign planning.
  • Work with internal team members and external stakeholders to coordinate campaign-related tasks ensuring projects proceed according to deadlines

 

About you:

To be successful in the role you will ideally have;

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in writing content for sales, direct marketing or fundraising purposes
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing for both offline and online channels.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, WordPress CMS and Adobe Marketo
  • Ability to work autonomously, coordinate and prioritise work under pressure and organise time effectively in order to meet deadlines.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive. Can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn, improve and contribute.
  • Ability to readily adapt to change and to learn new procedures quickly.
  • A strong interest in the health and not-for-profit sectors
