We’ve experienced rapid growth in the last 10 years, and now we’re dialling it up another notch, expanding our impact across Australia. Across the 12 charity brands that are part of our Group, we support research, care and health services in more than 60 areas of disease and illness; ranging from the most common conditions affecting our loved ones such as cancer, heart disease, dementia and stroke, to rare and under-researched illnesses that need our urgent attention.   That’s why we’re looking for an energetic, purpose-driven individual to join our growing team, who will excel at maximising support for our Group through acquiring and growing our major donor supporter base.   Join an amazing team of passionate and driven people who are changing lives. You will work closely with our Head of Philanthropy and our Senior Executive team. You will help deliver and evolve our organisational fundraising strategy with an ambitious vision to identify opportunities to grow our revenue through relationship-focused fundraising with high-net-worth individuals, Trusts and Foundations.   Whilst someone with a not-for-profit and philanthropy background would be ideal, it is not a deal breaker. Maybe you have experience in business development, sales or marketing and now you want to use those skills to raise revenue for an incredibly worthwhile cause? You can draw on the years of experience from our expert fundraising team to supercharge your skills for good!   About you To be successful you will need to: have a curiosity about people and their motivations, to build strong relationships.be a highly self-motivated, confident, professional and can build empathic and respectful relationships.enjoy working with a passionate and multi-skilled team but also be able to work autonomously to help lead the growth of our Major Donor portfolio.
 About the role This is a full-time role, requiring: 5+ years demonstrated experience in a supporter engagement role within the fundraising industry OR in a relationship-based sales/customer service role outside of fundraising 
 Demonstrated experience specifically with Major Gift solicitation is highly regarded, but not essential 
 Current knowledge of the philanthropic landscape in Australia and deep networks within South Australia 
 Demonstrated understanding of bequest and major donor identity profiles, to support the research and qualification of donor prospects
