THRF Group – Parkinson’s are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team as a Nurse Specialist.  This role provides individualised clinical care and support to people affected by Parkinson’s, Stroke, Arthritis and other neurological and movement disorders.

 

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Provide individualised support to people in the community living with Parkinson’s Disease.
  • Facilitate small support groups within Residential Aged Care facilities and the community for people living with Parkinson’s and their families.
  • Host regular education seminars with allied health and medical professionals on Parkinson’s Disease and how to support people living with this condition.
  • Actively promote THRF Group – Parkinson’s services to key stakeholders and the wider community.
  • Connect with consumers, families, support coordinators to maximise client outcomes.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Current AHPRA Registered Nurse with a minimum 5 years’ post graduate experience
  • Experience and/or interest in chronic disease management and movement disorders
  • An understanding of primary and tertiary health care
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team with a flexible positive attitude.
