As Head of Fundraising & Digital Media, you’ll drive the development and execution of innovative fundraising and digital strategies across THRFG and our family of charity brands. This senior leadership role is central to driving fundraising growth, digital engagement, and long-term sustainability for THRFG. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications and other senior leaders to shape donor experiences, lead multi-channel fundraising campaigns, and grow philanthropic revenue. Managing high-performing teams across Campaigns, Digital Media, and Supporter Engagement, you’ll foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. You’ll also lead the exploration of emerging technologies, including Agentic AI, to future-proof our digital and fundraising strategies and maximise community impact. We’re looking for individuals who possess: - 5+ years experience in fundraising, with a strong track record of delivering successful programs and campaigns.
- 10+ years in sales and/or marketing roles, with a proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Behavioural Sciences or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Expertise in digital marketing platforms and tools, including CMS, email marketing, analytics, and social media (Marketo and WordPress desirable).
- Deep understanding of content, search, and social media marketing best practices.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborative, data-driven leader with a focus on donor experience, ethical practice, and continuous improvement.
About the Role Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications the Head of Fundraising & Digital, will: - Lead multi-channel fundraising campaigns, including major appeals and peer-to-peer events like The Longest Table, to drive revenue growth.
- Oversee digital marketing (email, content, social media, paid channels) to boost brand awareness, lead generation, and online donations.
- Create targeted marketing campaigns to engage key audiences and support Client and Patient Services.
- Guide social media and search marketing strategies, implementing innovative digital fundraising techniques to increase online giving.
- Lead the Supporter Engagement team, focusing on retention and growth across Major Donors, Monthly Giving, Gifts in Wills, and In Honour giving.
- Manage digital agency relationships while building internal capability to execute data-driven campaigns.
- Explore and apply emerging tools like Agentic AI to improve efficiency and campaign performance.
- Provide strategic leadership across teams, fostering a collaborative culture and contributing to THRFG’s broader goals.
