The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) Group is seeking an exceptional team player to support our team to optimise, grow and execute, events and peer to peer, corporate and community programs.

 

This position would suit someone who would like to do school hours over four days or three full days.

About the role

 

Reporting to the Events and Community Fundraising Coordinator and working closely with other team members and business units, this role will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the successful campaigns, events and activities within the Corporate and Community Engagement Team. Some after hours and weekend work will be required for sporting and corporate partnership events.

 

Role responsibilities include:

    • Support peer-to-peer fundraising activities by nurturing new fundraising enquiries, maintaining and building relationships with external fundraisers for THRF Group including community groups, workplaces and individuals. Build awareness of THRF Group and its mission. 
    • Manage monthly processing and reporting of the THRF Group's third-party fundraising platforms  
    • Maintain and record fundraising and engagement activity utilising Microsoft Dynamic CRM 
    • Provide planning and logistics support for various fundraising and engagement activities. 
    • Maintain a great working relationship and interface with key stakeholders, volunteers, staff and the general public.  
    • Provide event and activation support to the Corporate and Community Engagement team  

About you

 

To be successful in the role you will ideally have;

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in undertaking retention/relationship marketing activities within the fundraising industry
  • Knowledge of community/peer-to-peer fundraising activities would be an advantage 
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in events or administration support
  • Excellent organisational and time management.  
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines within tight timeframes. 
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work unsupervised, co-ordinate and prioritise work. The ability to work with collaboratively with team members and positively contribute to the culture of our organisation.
