About the Role We are looking for a Business Services Officer to join our Executive Services team and play a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient and professional environment for staff, volunteers, donors and visitors. As one of the first points of contact at our head office in Woodville, you’ll be the friendly face and steady hand that keeps our reception and administrative operations running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service both face to face and over the phone. You’ll support day‑to‑day office operations, coordinate administrative projects, assist with donor processing, help onboard new staff, and ensure our shared spaces and meeting rooms are well‑maintained and ready for use. Key Responsibilities - Provide professional reception services including answering calls, greeting visitors and managing reception emails.
- Support donation processing, lottery ticket sales and CRM data entry.
- Coordinate meeting rooms, staff kitchen rosters, office supplies and general office upkeep.
- Assist with new staff inductions, building access, training bookings and staff photos.
- Manage mail distribution, couriers and archiving processes.
- Support events, staff wellbeing initiatives and administrative projects across the organisation.
- Liaise with internal teams, volunteers, external stakeholders and the general public.
- Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with THRF Group values.
About You You’ll bring a warm, professional presence and a genuine commitment to excellent customer service. You’re organised, adaptable and confident managing competing priorities. We’re looking for someone with: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence using phone systems, CRMs and the Microsoft Office Suite, or willingness to learn.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A current driver’s licence (required).
- First Aid or Fire Warden accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
