Military and Emergency Services Health Australia (MESHA), a charity of The Hospital Research Foundation Group (THRFG), is seeking a Project Manager – Program and Services, to support the successful delivery of MESHA Programs, Training, Services and Research.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of THRFG Group - MESHA, the Project Manager – Program and Services, will:

  • Support business development, marketing, and research efforts to promote MESHA programs, identify opportunities, and ensure evidence-based program development.
  • Apply quality control and risk management in planning, designing, and delivering MESHA research, programs, and training, in collaboration with the Head of THRFG-MESHA.
  • Manage communications and relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, clients, sponsors, and partners, using CRM systems to track and maintain contact details.
  • Provide regular reports on project progress, milestones, and budgets to the management team and Head of THRFG-MESHA.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, serve as the primary contact for assigned business customers and agencies, and assist with contract coordination.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and project management tools to support MESHA projects, programs, services, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective delivery and reporting.

We're looking for individuals who possess:

  • Working knowledge of mental health or trauma informed care and practice (or willingness to learn).
  • Comprehension of the needs of current of former military or emergency services (or willingness to learn).
  • Tertiary (University or TAFE) qualified in one or more of the following disciplines: health or human services management (preferably mental health), business management, administration and/or development; project management; training design and/or delivery; customer relationship management; human resources management; marketing or communications.
  • Previous experience (whether professional or personal) with military, veterans, police, or emergency services context.
  • Strong business development skills will be highly regarded.
  • High integrity and commitment to values-based service delivery.
  • Resilience, with a demonstrated ability to deliver to deadlines.
  • High emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and non-verbal communication in internal and external, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement contexts.
